LĪLA is inspired by the Sanskrit concept meaning “divine play” — the idea that beauty, creativity, movement, expression, and femininity are meant to be experienced freely and fully. It represents softness and strength existing together: an uninhibited expression of self rooted in confidence, emotion, artistry, and presence.
At LĪLA, boudoir is about far more than simply taking photographs & lingerie. It is about creating space for women to feel seen, celebrated, empowered, and comfortable in their own skin through an experience that feels elevated, intentional, and deeply personal.
Created by Katie Lentini and Kathy Marra, LĪLA is a female-led experience built on connection, trust, encouragement, and artistry. Together, they have joined forces to create an environment where women can feel supported, confident, relaxed, and fully themselves throughout the experience — whether that means feeling soft and feminine, bold and powerful, playful and expressive, or all of the above.
With an editorial-inspired and cinematic approach, every session is thoughtfully guided to balance beauty with authenticity — creating imagery that not only looks beautiful, but feels emotionally honest and empowering long after the session is over.

No modeling experience is required — just openness, positive energy, and a willingness to trust the creative process.

I HAVE NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE AND I AM NERVOUS. IS THAT OKAY?
Absolutely — in fact, most women who walk into a LĪLA session are doing this for the very first time. Nerves are completely normal, and honestly, usually disappear within the first few minutes. Our sessions are intentionally relaxed, collaborative, and supportive from beginning to end. Think good music, champagne, guided direction, plenty of hype from our team, and zero pressure to “know what you’re doing.” We guide every movement, pose, and expression so you can settle in, have fun, and simply enjoy the experience.
HOW DO YOU HANDLE MY PRIVACY AND THE FINAL PHOTOGRAPHS?
Your comfort, trust, and privacy are foundational to the LĪLA experience. Every session takes place in a private, female-led environment, and all final galleries are delivered through a secure, password-protected platform. Your images are never shared on social media, our website, or in marketing materials without your clear written consent beforehand. Some clients love sharing their images publicly, while others prefer to keep them entirely personal — both are equally respected here.
DO I NEED TO BRING MY OWN LINGERIE OR OUTFITS?
We encourage bringing pieces that feel authentic to you and reflect your personal style — whether that’s delicate lingerie, an oversized sweater, structured tailoring, a silk slip, your partner’s button down, or something unexpectedly minimal. During your consultation, we’ll help curate looks that photograph beautifully while still feeling elevated and effortless.
LĪLA also offers an extensive client closet filled with hand-selected wardrobe pieces, styling staples, accessories, jewelry, veils, and layering elements to help elevate your session beyond what you bring personally. We’re always happy to mix, style, and creatively build looks together.
DO I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO POSE BEFORE I ARRIVE?
Not at all. You are not expected to know how to pose, move, model, or “be sexy” on command. Every part of your session is fully guided with intentional direction that focuses on natural movement, emotion, posture, breath, and connection rather than stiff posing. We’ll demonstrate prompts, adjust tiny details, hype you up constantly, and create an environment where you can relax into the experience naturally.
WHEN WILL I GET TO SEE MY COMPLETED PORTRAITS?
Your professionally edited gallery is typically delivered within 2–4 weeks following your session. Final images are provided through a private online gallery where you’ll be able to view, download, and select your favorite portraits. If you’ve chosen a fine art album or printed keepsakes, production timelines will be discussed during your ordering process. Rush delivery options may also be available upon request.
Is hair and makeup included?
Professional hair and makeup styling is available as an optional add-on experience with our partnered beauty artists. This appointment is scheduled prior to your session to ensure your initial look feels polished, elevated, and camera-ready before stepping in front of the lens.
We favor a soft, elevated, editorial-inspired approach to beauty — think refined rather than overly done.
Throughout your shoot, we also provide light touch-ups, styling adjustments, and assistance with look changes to keep everything feeling seamless and luxurious.
